EXPERIENCE:

First National Bank Product Specialist & Portfolio Manager– Tanzania {June 2016 –
September 2019}

Product Development, Strategy, and Planning, Project Management and Business Process

▪ Introduced First National Bank to Insurance Premium Finance (product), with

Tanzania becoming the first country to introduce it. This included the product's

definition, feasibility, growth, validation, implementation, and assessment (IPF).

▪ Develop and implement an overall Business Plan, Project Management, and

Business Process for Insurance Premium Finance and other Insurance products

across the entire organization focused on business targets as per the bank’s

strategy and insurance partners. 

▪ Have a clear understanding of market trends around the organization to capitalize 

on the Bank's clients' diverse product/service needs. 

Credit, Financial and Performance Management 

▪ Responsible for Insurance Premium Finance ROI and other Insurance 

products by building strong working relationships across the industry 

and guiding IPF operations across channels and divisions to meet 

consumer, business, sales, and benefit goals. 

▪ Active partnership management with all insurance agencies to ensure that the 

sales networks are running smoothly and meeting stakeholders' goals. 

▪ Risk management entails ensuring that laws, procedures, and regulations are 

followed, as well as finding areas of concern/loopholes in day-to-day processes 

that could lead to avoidable failure and developing a remedial system. 

▪ Monthly reporting of Insurance Premium Finance financials and Non-Interest 

Revenue. 

▪ Involved in the establishment and effective management of the Premium 

Finance portfolio by preserving and expanding the bank's market share in IPF 

and other insurance products. 

▪ Presentation of the client's IPF credit application to the members of the Senior 

Credit Committee for analysis, assessment, and approval. 

▪ Ensures the bank's investment in its customers through Insurance Premium 

Finance is of exceptional and authentic credit quality. 

Business and Market Intelligence 

▪ Active Business Analysis and review of all customer bases to understand customer 

profiles, product holding mix, revenue contribution.
