• As a part of the Regional Leadership Team I am responsible for developing and
managing regional finance organization in 3 trading companies, 1 central office, 1
manufacturing factory and several export markets (Israel, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, KSA,
UAE, Lebanon, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Egypt, Namibia, Botswana,
Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Swaziland, Iran);

profitability from below 10% to 30%+ in first 6 months); price recovery in markets with volatile

2012 - 2014 – a multi-million USD loan was successfully refinanced with a group of leading
international lenders (Citibank, FMO and others); negotiated with EBRD, IFC and all major
commercial and state banks operating in Ukraine
2015 – 2016 - Business was capable to restore profitability; Turnover, EBIT, EBITDA are about
twice higher compared to previous year in UAH terms; Citibank loan is continued to be repaid.
Balance sheet restructuring was started and successfully completed by 2016 end.

For almost 12 years, in my capacity as market CFO, I played a pivotal role in taking an ailing
business and making Ukraine into one of JTI’s key pillar markets, delivering volume of 23.7 Bn
units, Turnover of almost $1 Bn and EBIT of $100+ MM (from circa 5 bn volume and negative
EBIT in 1999). All JTI Ukraine annual plans have been overachieved during those 12 years;
• At the same time, my team and I have helped to develop a sustainable Export business in
Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Moldova. Starting from zero in 2000, those
markets delivered circa12 Bn units volume and $60.0 MM EBIT;
• In 2004 I led Ukrainian JTI team in implementing ERP system (SAP) in Ukraine market;
• In 2007 – 2008 period I played one of the key roles in implementing a successful
integration of JTI and former Gallaher in Ukraine (2 trading companies and 2
manufacturing factories);
• I played an active part in local Excom (leadership team), acting as a real business partner
and was heavily involved in formulating business strategy and implementing commercial
projects;
• During my years with JTI I have developed a very good understanding of how a
competitive Sales and Distribution Company works and how important is to maintain a
positive working relationship between all departments of the trading company and most
importantly with the factory;
• I have built a solid structure in the finance department and PPO (professional purchasing
organization reporting to me) and have provided the team with the necessary level of
training and coaching which has enabled them to develop and be successful. Total
