IT Craft is looking for a proactive Middle/Strong Middle QA Engineer ready to take initiative in client communication, test process organization, and team efficiency improvement.
We are developing a system that automates the process of obtaining medical records related to various insurance cases — such as injuries, accidents, and fractures. The solution streamlines communication between insurance companies and healthcare providers, accelerates data exchange, and ensures secure access to all required medical documentation.
This role suits a specialist who wants to influence product quality more deeply, build and improve testing processes, and present work results to the client. You’ll have space for initiatives - from organizing acceptance sessions to optimizing testing and demonstrating effectiveness through KPIs.

Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of new functionalities, develop test cases, test documentation, and reports;
- Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy for new features and releases, focusing on both functional and non-functional requirements;
- Identify, document, and track defects;
- Lead client acceptance sessions: independently present tasks, explain implementations, and get approvals;
-Support other testers by helping with task prioritization and maintaining focus on the most important testing areas;
- Conduct basic agile/software development sessions: process reviews, KPI presentations, and similar activities;
- Collaborate with BA, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, design test plans, and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in manual testing of commercial applications;
- Strong understanding of Web application and browser functioning principles;
- Solid knowledge of testing approaches, techniques, methodologies, and the SDLC;
- Experience in testing API;
- Hands-on experience with bug-tracking systems;
- Experience in writing test documentation;
- Knowledge of SQL;
- Knowledge of automation testing process;
- Experience in estimating and prioritizing testing tasks;
- Experience with Zephyr or similar tool;
- Experience mentoring or coordinating the work of testers;
- Hands-on experience with testing KPIs (tracking, optimization, and client reporting);
- At least an Upper-Intermediate level of spoken and written English.

Will be a plus:
- Practical experience with Playwright;
- Desire to grow toward automation (and willingness to learn it with us);
- Experience in communication with a product owner;
- Experience in working with a distributed team;
- Security testing.
