ACADEMIC PROJECTS 

• Emotional Speech Recognition: studying various models and identifying the model best suited for 

recognizing emotions from voice with and without gender differentiation.

Description: 

In this master’s project a number of sklearn models, voting classifiers and a novel CNN model 

was trained for emotional speech recognition and a model was selected among them as the best to be 
deployed in the Flask web application. The web application recorded live voice from the users and 
predicts the emotion expressed in the recorded voice using the implemented model. 

• Be-Cared: A Complete Medical Assistant 

February 2018 

Description: 

This project was a real-life website which provided features such as baby vaccinations,

online medical store, near-by doctor details and their appointments in coordination with hospitals and 
doctors. The project took six months just to complete in one small town- Kozhencherry and was made 
using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, Bluehost, Digimiles(sms gateway). 

• Ratrace: An Online Placement Cell 

February 2017 

Description: 

This mini-project was a web-based application to ease up the usual procedures for registering and 

verifying marks by students and teachers for placements. The application was made by HTML, CSS, 
PHP, and MySQL. It took four months to complete. 

WORKSHOPS 

• ROBOTICS & EMBEDDED SYSTEMS 

Description: Conducted by Srishti Robotics on 5

 of August 2016. During the workshop we 

had a robotic class and competition between the students, where the coordinators supplied the 
necessary kits and taught us the Arduino language. The workshop was an effective one and we learned 
the basics of Arduino. 

• PHP BASED WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT 

Description: Conducted by the Computer Society of India on 3

 of February 2017. During the 

workshop, we learned the basics of PHP, about databases, MySQL queries, and how to communicate 
between databases and PHP. The workshop was really effective and helped a lot in my academic 
projects.

• IiHadoop – An asynchronous Distributed Framework for Incremental Iterative Computations. 

Description: 

The seminar was about how iihadoop improves performance in handling 
large-scale data computations by optimizing incremental iterative computations 
and its efficiency in Big Data Analysis than hadoop.
