Cover Letter

I became interested in learning programming around 2002 when I discovered that there was a community of hobby programmers who were making game mods in their spare time. From there, I started teaching myself computer programming through books and online tutorials.

I wanted to get some experience in the industry, so I spent a few years working in tech support, assisting customers with their computer and internet, trouble shooting any technical issues.

While working in tech support, I was taking classes at Coleman college and teaching myself computer programming from online classes.

I have created a few small webistes with HTML and Javascript. I am currently working on a text based adventure game in Java. Technology and trouble shooting is my passion, always looking for the next opportunity to expand my knowledge and network.

I came across the position for the backend software engineer in Kiev, UA and knew right away I was interested. I am always looking to learn, expand my professional network and be open to new experiences. Thank you for taking the time to consider my application. I am can easily relocate to anywhere in the world since I do not have much luggage to move.

When people ask me, why did I choose to go into software development, I tell them I enjoy the challenge of solving problems, that can be debugging code, finding ways to improve the user experience or finding a way to write code that can accomplish the desired goal with fewer lines of code.
