- Writing of test-cases, check lists, bug-reports
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- Experience in bug tracking systems Mantis, JIRA, Redmine
- Analysis of documents and detection of errors at early stages of development
Strong theoretical knowledge:
- Models of software development, advantages and disadvantages (waterfall, spiral, interative, V-model etc.)
- Software development methodologies (Agile – Scrum, ХP, Kanban)
- IEEE 829 testing standard
- Functional, non-functional, black box, white box, regression, smoke testing, performance, usability, security, localization, compatibility, alpha/beta testing etc.
- Understanding of software development’s and bug’s life cycle
