In fostering these vital connections, we empower communities to respond quickly and effectively to the crisis. Our vision is to create a world where humans are more resilient to emergencies.

We are a global group of volunteers that came together to make a difference and are actively looking for other highly-dedicated individuals to join us.

• Working in a collaborative, fully remote environment. Attending daily standups with video calls.

• Doing implementations up to the Zepplin & Figma.

• Open PR's to fix various bugs or new logic implementations, and also review other PR's.

Front End Engineer

Designed and launched an efficient Barcode Scanner App which strategically surpasses the needs of the local customer for IOS firstly. The app performs operations by reading barcode data and hold at front-end for users to create a list from desirable barcode data and perform editorial functionalities. Handling various aspects to develop a useful function to facilitate the user in sharing data and collaborating with relevant stakeholders and team members to formulate features for the user to reach goods' global prices and perform comparison through scanned barcode data.

• Applied vigorous approaches and effective techniques to launch a highly advanced version of the app on AppStore.

• Working on chat screen implementation to add practical and flexible communication between app users.

A Word Puzzle App with React-Native Ongoing

• Formalised 3 x 3 matrices to carry letters; "the user should slide his finger over this pane and find out the hidden words inside one by one".

• Used pan responder structure in react-native to analyse and resolve this concern.

• Wrote component to control randomly place letters in the pane for the user to slide a finger from beginning till the end of a word.

• Utilised redux to handle state management.

A Barcode Scanner App with React- Native Ongoing

• Used Camera component from Expo and FlatList component to perform barcode scanning and collect scanned data in the list respectively.

• Formulated PDF list by Print API and used Share API to share created PDF's.

• Used TCP library to send data to a local server.

• Used Audio API from Expo to record and play audio, FlatList component to developing list screen, Sentry to track production errors consistently, and Redux to control state management.

• Decoded and encoded base64 string audio file to append, prepend, and overwrite recorded audio.

• Devised an audio buffer for trimming through reading base64 string.

• Established effective file-sharing by utilising react-native share API for the recorded file.

• Leveraged technologies/software's including Google Maps API to implement map, as well as Geocode services to autocomplete search bar.

• Implemented place's name, address information, and photo of location to sidebar through Yelp API, while utilising Apollo client to communicate with Yelp GraphQL API.

• Performed unit testing and integration tests by using Jest and utilised styled-components to develop reusable view based components.

• Developed bottom tab navigator, as well as incorporated FlatList component with a dynamic search bar.

• Utilised Apollo Client to communicate with GraphQL API at the back-end, while conducting Post / Comment Mutations and used re-fetch queries to render results instantly.
