Description:

Learning Management System (LMS) 2.2 is web-based application that facilitates access to learning content and administration. It is used by educational institutions for enhance and support classroom teaching and offering courses to larger population of learners across the globe. LMS provides a unified software platform that efficiently manages every activity that impacts student achievement and increases staff productivity by integrating innovative functionality in the critical areas of planning, instruction, assessment, data management, reporting, and communication. It provides flexible tools that allow districts to implement their own improvement initiatives while demonstrating accountability to local stakeholders and state or national mandates. This application has new features such as Learner Self Enroll, Digital Drop-Box, Threaded Discussions, Batch Enroll Refactoring and Learner Progress Reports Optimization.

This ********* is based on the latest design pattern framework of MVC version 3 where the application is based on cshtml instead of aspx pages. Majorly developed using js and jQuery plug-ins.

The newer version is light weight application which consider grouping of user into course section enabling system to generate details reports as per business needs.

The idea of adopting new MVC 3 pattern is to make the product compatible for different browsers as well as PDA, touch screen phones etc.

The testing is challenging in this area as testers need to verify the consistency across different browsers and check for consistent functionality.
